We value your privacy. This policy explains how the IndustryLang app ("the App") collects, uses and stores your information.
1. Information we collect
Content you enter: industries, scenarios, words or sentences for translation are used solely to generate glossaries, translations and pronunciation — never for any other purpose.：
Account & payment info: to provide cloud sync and Pro features, we store your username, password hash, subscription records and usage statistics. Payments are handled by third-party platforms (Afdian / Lemon Squeezy, etc.); we never see your bank card details.：
2. Microphone (recording)
The microphone is used only in the "Live Translate / hold to talk" feature, with your permission, for speech recognition performed by your device's system recognition engine. Audio is never uploaded or stored by us.
3. Network & services
The App is an online tool that requires network access for glossaries, AI translation and speech synthesis. It is used for:
- AI translation / glossary generation: text is sent to configured AI service providers for processing;
- Speech synthesis: text is sent to a TTS service (default: Google Translate's pronunciation endpoint; with an API key: Google Cloud Text-to-Speech) to generate MP3 audio, cached by a hash of language + text to reduce costs;
- App updates: version info is requested and updates are downloaded only when you choose to upgrade.
4. Third-party services
The App may use the following third-party services: AI model providers, speech recognition (device system), speech synthesis (Google / Google Cloud), payment platforms and app stores (for updates). Each provider follows its own privacy policy.
5. Advertising & third-party cookies (Google AdSense)
To keep this website free, we may display ads via third-party ad networks such as Google AdSense. These providers may use cookies (including Google's advertising cookie and the DART cookie) to serve personalized ads based on websites you have visited.
- Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site;
- Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the Internet;
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com);

The App is intended for general users and is not directed at children under 14. If you are under 14, please do not use the App.
